A Family-Run Company With a More Personal Approach
PreFab Home Solutions started in Campbell County, Virginia in 2020 after Tony Wood saw a need for another option in the manufactured-home industry.
Affordable housing had always been familiar territory for Tony's family. They grew up around a family member who owned mobile home parks, and Tony had already spent approximately 20 years buying, renovating and working with homes.
But when Tony moved into the manufactured-home business, one thing stood out— The process could be much more personal. Customers regularly told Tony that visiting traditional home centers felt a lot like walking onto a car lot. They felt like the goal was to close a sale.
Tony wants PreFab Home Solutions to feel different. We See a Family, Not a Transaction. Buying a home is a big decision, and we believe customers deserve more than a sales pitch. They deserve answers, communication, and someone who stays involved from beginning to end.
Tony personally manages the entire process, keeps customers updated at least once a week, and reaches out anytime something changes. If a problem comes up, he works to get it resolved and keeps the customer informed along the way.

Owner & CEO
Tony is the owner of PreFab Home Solutions and manages everything from the first customer conversation to project completion.
He works with customers on budgeting, land, contracts, permits, site preparation, construction, installation, inspections and the many details required to get a home ready for occupancy.
Tony is also a Licensed Real Estate Agent and can assist customers who need help with land.
His credentials include:

Class A Residential Building Contractor, RBC
PreFab Home Solutions carries Workers' Compensation and Liability Insurance.
Meet Hannah Thompson
Lead Designer & Office Manager
If Tony manages the project, Hannah helps make the home feel like yours.
Choosing a manufactured or modular home can involve far more decisions than customers expect.
Hannah works directly with buyers to compare home models and select interior and exterior options.
Flooring. Cabinets. Colors. Appliances. Siding. Layouts. Roof choices. Bathrooms. Finishes.
Depending on the manufacturer, customers can use samples, catalogs and online design resources, and some manufacturers also offer factory tours.
Hannah helps make that part of the process easier.

Supporting Anxious for Nothing
Giving back also means supporting organizations doing meaningful work right here in Central Virginia.
Tony became involved with Anxious for Nothing, a Christian nonprofit serving young people and families in the Bedford community, after learning more about its mission and the safe, welcoming space it provides for local youth.
PreFab Home Solutions is proud to support their work, and The Ultimate Sacrifice Flag Foundation is sponsoring the Anxious for Nothing Color Run.
For Tony, the reason for getting involved is simple: local businesses have an opportunity to invest in the communities and people around them.

The Ultimate Sacrifice Flag Foundation
Tony is also the founder of The Ultimate Sacrifice Flag Foundation, a nonprofit created to honor those who gave their lives in service to others.
The Foundation is developing a permanent memorial in Evington, Virginia, centered around a 250-foot flagpole and three dedicated memorial areas honoring fallen members of the military, first responders, and Christian missionaries.
The vision is to create a place where families can remember the people behind the sacrifice and where their stories can continue to be shared for generations.
